MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
ONE CLASS AT A TIME.

DANCE FOR A DIFFERENCE is a donate-what-you-wish Zumba dance class in which each class funds are contributed to A different local nonprofit organization.

OUR PURPOSE IS TO BUILD:

  • JOYFueling the joy of feeling alive in the moment and getting lost in music and movement while dancing

  • AWARENESSAmplifying awareness of local nonprofits doing remarkable things right in our backyard

  • CONNECTIONEngaging class participants to support the nonprofits through donations or volunteer opportunities

Information for our class participants:

  • Zumba dance is for all levels of fitness. It’s easy to follow yet also is a wonderful cardio activity. A good workout is guaranteed! Children with an adult are also very welcome to attend!

  • Each class we spend a bit of time learning about a different nonprofit or cause in our community, often from a representative from the nonprofit itself.

  • At the end of each class, we ask for you to donate what you wish directly to the nonprofit we are supporting.

Information for our nonprofits:

  • We provide you a space and opportunity to share your mission with others through dance and fitness! We have been successful in raising direct donations for all of our Partners and helping to expand your reach. We promote your cause before, during and after the class in a thoughtful and engaging manner with social, video posts and links back to your website.

  • If you are chosen as a Partner, we ask for help in advertising the classes by sharing our flyer and sign up information with your community and promotion through your social channels (tagging Dance4ADifference on social). We are also open to brainstorming additional ideas!

  • We have found that having a representative from your organization attend the class to talk to our participants about your nonprofit leads to greater connections + higher donations. We ask that you make sure that at least one representative is present and for your participation in a short video (which we film) to be used to extend impact after the class.
